HELLO

I'm Jennifer Hogan. I’m an experienced professional who is passionate about building and marketing products for life science researchers and clinicians.

After obtaining a PhD in molecular biology, my career outside of the lab began in development of biological databases and software – eventually managing a team of scientists who assembled and created the content and developers who created the tools to work with that content. Early on I realized that it didn’t matter how impressed we as a team were with what we were building. If the end product didn’t resonate with prospective customers, we couldn’t call our work a success.

Naturally, this led me to adopt a product management mindset – understanding who the prospective customer was and what their needs were. And from there to adopt a product marketing mindset centered on content – even if we knew who the prospective customer was and what they cared about, if we weren’t able to communicate how our products could help them we still couldn’t call our work a success. During the past 20 years I’ve written hundreds of pieces of scientific content for products in diagnostics, genetic testing, bioinformatics and clinical database/software industries.

Today I work with clients to develop their content strategy and to create accurate and engaging technical content. I can’t wait to partner with you to make your product a success.
